Alpine diesel prices: Comparison shows cheapest station saves $0.25

(ALPINE, TX) Savings of as much as $0.25 per gallon on diesel were available in the Alpine area, depending on which station drivers choose, according to a recent price survey.

The title of cheapest station in the Alpine area went to Stripes at 700 E Ave E, according to a Tuesday survey by GasBuddy. Diesel was listed there at just $3.44 per gallon. The most expensive station in the city was $3.69, at Valero at 708 N 5Th St, the survey found:

The average price across the greater Alpine area was $3.56, according to data collected by gas price app GasBuddy.
