The Douglas City Hall will soon receive a facelift, and now we have a better idea of what the nondescript building at Fourth and Center streets may look like. BOISE, Idaho (CBS2) — The U.S. Forest Service reports that 15 new fire starts have been detected in the past 24 hours in Idaho, with more expected. Strong winds and thunderstorms across eastern Oregon and western Idaho Wednesday further complicated matters for fire managers as resources are already stretched thin. The National Weather Service in Boise reports 2,800 lightning strikes came from the storms on Wednesday, leading Forest Service personnel to believe more fires could soon be detected.
