Once again, Rick Allen will lead the broadcast booth as he provides play-by-play for the Cup and Xfinity Series races at Iowa. Alpha Prime Racing adds Alon Day for Chicago Xfinity race
Alpha Prime Racing has brought in a road course ringer, four-time NASCAR Whelen Euro Series champion Alon Day, for the Xfinity Series race in Chicago. According to the announcement, Day will drive the No. 45 Chevrolet Camaro with Jet Support Services as his primary partner. This will be his first Xfinity Series start since the 2016 season.
Legacy Motor Club lands new multi-year sponsor
The full-time Legacy Motor Club Cup Series cars will have a new sponsor as part of a multi-year deal. Massey Motor Freight, a Texas-based delivery service, has signed on to be a primary sponsor for both Erik Jones and John Hunter Nemechek. The company's first primary race will be the Ally 400 at Nashville Superspeedway (June 30, 3:30 p.m. ET on NBC).
RFK Racing's Stage 60 returns with new driver at Chicago
The No. 60 RFK Racing Ford Mustang will return to action for the Chicago Street Race in July, this time with a new driver. According to an announcement from RFK Racing, sports car driver Joey Hand will take control of the No. 60 on July 7 (4:30 p.m. ET, NBC).
