The Saratoga County murder happened in the town of Charlton, at the Xtra Mart on State Route 67, at around 3 a.m. on July 8, 1993. Sheriff’s officials said the 37-year-old Conley was working an overnight shift when someone shot her once in the head, killing her. The shooter then stole an undisclosed amount of cash from the register before fleeing.

Schenectady man accused of stealing items from store. A Schenectady man is accused of stealing merchandise from Amsterdam businesses, totaling at least thousands of dollars. Todd J. Podrazik, 47, was stopped I-890 in Rotterdam around 11:30 a.m. Tuesday for a traffic violation. Podrazik allegedly lied about his identity. He also did not have a valid driver’s license and no registration or insurance, State Police said.
