    Eddie Vedder Video With Bodyguards Released

    Legendary band Pearl Jam are to be featured on CBS Sunday Morning on September 22nd and frontman Eddie Vedder discussed variety of topics. Vedder was also just filmed with his bodyguards in Boston.

    CBS News have shared a preview of Pearl Jam’s upcoming appearance on CBS News Sunday Morning this weekend. The network noted Pearl Jam is one of the world’s biggest, most respected rock groups. Now, in a rare extensive interview with Anthony Mason, Vedder revealed how much time it takes to make the setlist for shows.

    Eddie Vedder puts in work for setlist

    It was narrated that Eddie Vedder labors over every setlist before his shows. Host Anthony Mason noted that there’s a lot of songs on the list that Vedder has to choose from. Vedder replied: “Well, there’s a lot of covers and yeah things that we played once.”

    Vedder was asked how long does that process typically takes him, to which he replied: Sometimes in a ridiculously long amount of time.

    It was then narrated that “he writes up is setlist in calligraphy, which he learned to pass the time on the road.”

    CBS NEWS SUNDAY MORNING is set to be broadcast Sunday, September 22 (9:00 AM, ET) on the CBS Television Network and streaming on Paramount+.

    Meanwhile, Pearl Jam has entered the lineup on LIVE75 as the concert headliner with the highest-ranked debut of the week. Ticket sales from four shows at three venues on the recent U.S. leg of the band’s “Dark Matter World Tour” earn the No. 2 ranking on the chart based on a sold-ticket average of 32,983 per show. Together, all four of the concerts logged a total of 131,933 sold tickets for a combined box-office haul topping $19.9 million.

    Included among the four shows are two of the tour’s three stadium dates booked stateside during August and September, beginning with an August 22nd performance at Washington-Grizzly Stadium at the University of Montana in Missoula.

    The sold-out concert started the group’s brief 11-show trek through the U.S. and drew 25,326 fans, grossing $3.9 million. Then, the sole amphitheater date on the tour followed on August 26th at Ruoff Music Center in the Indianapolis market with 24,697 tickets sold for a gross of $2.3 million. The band’s two-night run at Chicago’s Wrigley Field, August 29th and 31st, moved a total of 81,910 tickets over both nights and produced a gross of $13.7 million.

    September performances on the “Dark Matter” trek included a two-show stint in New York City at Madison Square Garden followed by two concerts at Philadelphia’s Wells Fargo Center and a performance at CFG Bank Arena in Baltimore. The last stadium on the American tour was Boston’s Fenway Park which hosted Pearl Jam on September 15th and 17th.
