Greta Van Fleet Replace Foo Fighters At Concert

Greta Van Fleet are set to replace Foo Fighters after the Dave Grohl-led band called off their September 29 appearance at the Soundside Music Festival in Bridgeport, Connecticut.

Thehe band posted a statement on the band’s social media: “Foo Fighters will no longer be appearing at this weekend’s Soundside Music Festival. Please check the festival website for more information.”

Soundside’s statement reads, “Unfortunately, Foo Fighters have announced they’re no longer performing this weekend.”

They’ve also added two artists to Sunday’s lineup to replace Foo Fighters: Jack White (who also recently announced intimate Pacific Northwest shows happening next week) and Greta Van Fleet.

The band was scheduled to headline day two of Southside Music Festival, with Bleachers, Norah Jones, Teddy Swims and more also performing.

Saturday’s lineup includes Noah Kahan, Goo Goo Dolls, Fleet Foxes, Boyz II Men, Grace Potter, Thee Sacred Souls, Christone “Kingfish” Ingram, Lisa Loeb and Nine Stories, Madi Diaz, and Rijah. Sunday’s lineup also has Teddy Swims, Norah Jones, Gregory Alan Isakov, Drew Holcomb and the Neighbors, The War and Treaty, Hurray for the Riff Raff, and Darren Kiely. The cancelation comes two weeks after the band frontman Dave Grohl recently admitted that he fathered a child born outside of his marriage with another woman, cheating on his wife Jordyn. Grohl and Blum’s future together remains unclear following the revelation. His wife has largely remained quiet and could reveal details of their marriage and her efforts to hold it together for their three daughters.

Dave Grohl’s past indiscretions, including a rumored 15-year affair and jealousy over Blum’s tennis coach, have further strained their relationship. As per a report, Blum is preparing to break her silence and may be considering a lucrative deal worth millions for a tell-all book with a division of Simon & Schuster following the humiliation caused by Grohl’s affair. Blum has allegedly ignored her husband’s actions throughout their marriage and might now be considering speaking out following his infidelity confession.
