Dave Grohl’s Daughter Photo At Pearl Jam Show

Harper Grohl, daughter of Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl recently hung out with legends Kim Gordon (Sonic Youth), and The Breeders’ Kim Deal and Kelley Deal backstage at Eddie Vedder and Pearl Jam’s Ohana Festival this past Sunday.

This picture comes after her father Dave Grohl admitted that he fathered a child born outside of his marriage with another woman, cheating on his wife Jordyn. Grohl and Blum’s future together remains unclear following the revelation.

On Tuesday, September 10th, the Foo Fighters frontman, made the shocking revelation on Instagram , telling fans he is doing “everything I can to regain” the trust of Blum and their children. (Grohl and Blum are parents to daughters Violet, 18, Harper, 15, and Ophelia, 10.)

In October 2008, it was reported that the couple were expecting their second child together. On April 17, 2009, they welcomed daughter Harper Willow, named after Grohl’s great uncle Harper Bonebrake.

In his 2021 memoir, The Storyteller , Grohl described how Paul McCartney gave Harper her first piano lesson when she was 5 years old.

“We have wine and pizza and we’re hanging out, and it was time for Paul to go,” Grohl summarized on The Graham Norton Show back in October 2021. “Paul and [his wife] Nancy were leaving, and there was a piano in the corner of the room, and he just can’t help himself.”

“So he sits down at the piano and starts playing ‘Lady Madonna’ in my f—ing house!” the musician recalled. “My mind is blown. I can’t believe this is happening. This is like the most full-circle, crazy moment of my entire life.”

Grohl added, “[Harper had] never taken a lesson to play any instrument at that point, and she sat down and she watched his hands. They sat together, and he was showing her what to play, and they wrote a song together.”

Harper showcased her musical talents at a benefit concert in 2018 by joining her dad and older sister, Violet, on stage. She played the drums while they sang an acoustic version of “The Sky Is a Neighborhood.” Afterwards, Harper took the spotlight, playing the drums while Violet sang Queen’s “We Will Rock You.”
