Led Zeppelin Singer Performs At Restaurant In Video

Robert Plant and his band Saving Grace recently performed an impromptu set at a seafood restaurant in Bari, Italy, on October 7th, as the band began their Italy tour.

Plant and his band were filmed singing “Goodnight” during a dinner at Ai 2 Ghiottoni. The restaurant seems to have been slightly confused about who it was serving, as it referred to the band as “ Led Zeppelin ” in its social media posts.

Plant could be seen wearing a T-shirt that reads “Beat Daddy” from the Nelson Drum Shop in Nashville, and also posed for a photograph with a restaurant employee. Saving Grace’s tour began in Italy with a performance in Bari on October 8th. The band will tour the country throughout this month before performing in Switzerland, Belgium and France at the end of the month.

There is no doubt that Robert Plant is one of the best rock singers of all time. When Jimmy Page initially set up Led Zeppelin, he wanted to start a band that dabbled in various areas of rock music, which meant playing acoustic numbers, blues, and hard rock, sometimes all within the same song. He was lucky to find a singer like Robert Plant who could cater to all of these different styles.

Because he made a name for himself in Led Zeppelin, many people would consider him great within the realm of rock music but not outside of it. They wouldn’t tolerate the idea of having Plant in the discussion for best vocalist of all time because he could only sing rock songs.

After Led Zeppelin disbanded due to the death of drummer John Bonham, many fans felt disappointed. However, there were some positive outcomes from the band’s breakup. One of the main benefits was that Robert Plant chose to move away from rock music in his solo career and explore different styles and sounds to showcase his unique vocals.

An example of this exploration was evident in the album Now and Zen, where Robert Plant experimented with electronic music, a departure from his usual heavy rock and occasional stripped-back instrumentation. This shift in sound was a deliberate choice for Plant as he wanted to try something new with electronic music.
