You can now get beer delivered from Sheetz in Pennsylvania

ALTOONA, Pa. (WTAJ) — Ever run out of beer during a cookout with friends and family? Sheetz has you covered with new beer delivery in Pennsylvania.

Sheetz announced Tuesday that through their partnership with DoorDash, they’ll now be able to deliver beer right to your doorstep — including Mike’s Harder Lemonade, White Claw, and Twisted Tea selections.

Starting today, you can place delivery orders for beer exclusively through the Sheetz mobile app and website. Delivery, as usual, is powered by DoorDash.

Restrictions:

• Orders can only be placed Monday – Friday between 7 a.m. and 1:45 a.m. and on Sundays between 9 a.m. and 1:45 a.m.
• You will also be required to verify your age

According to the Sheetz app, delivery drivers will need to scan your I.D., similar to how Sheetz employees must scan I.D.s in the store when anyone buys alcohol. The app states you won’t receive any part of the order if the recipient is underage, intoxicated, or unavailable.

You cannot set beer orders as “drop off” orders. You must meet the driver at your door with your I.D.

“Sheetz is committed to responsibly complying with all current alcohol sale laws and regulations, including the enforcement of a 100 percent proof-of-age policy,” the company said in a release.
