Survey of Alturas diesel prices reveals $0.80 savings at cheapest station

(ALTURAS, CA) Your choice of gas station could be costing you as much as $0.80 if you’re buying diesel in Alturas, according to a recent price survey.

The title of cheapest station in the Alturas area went to AIR Fuels at 901 Co Rd 56, according to a Tuesday survey by GasBuddy. Diesel was listed there at just $3.59 per gallon. The most expensive station in the city was $4.39, at Chevron at 1080 N Main St, the survey found:

Region-wide, the average price of diesel was $3.91, according to the survey, which was conducted by internet gas price app GasBuddy.
