DANVILLE — Girls’ flag football player Kali Bacys knows a lot of eyes will be on the Danville High team tonight at its historic inaugural game against Peoria Richwoods. Friends, family and other supporters also will be taking in all the renovations to the school’s Ned Whitesell Field, including the new turf, seating and the massive Watchfire Signs video scoreboard.

District 118 Board: Parents’ Survey on Cell Phones through September 5th; Work on Bailey Academy Continues
Between now and September 5th, Danville District 118 parents can respond to a survey on the District 118 website about cell phone policies. As Superintendent Dr. Alicia Geddis explained after Wednesday evening’s (Aug 28th) school board meeting, this is a chance for families to look at what other districts are doing, and put their two cents in.
