Jonathan’s The Rub is Adding Another New Location — This Time in Cypress
Jonathan’s The Rub, which recently opened its third restaurant in Houston’s East End, is expanding again. Its fourth location will be at Village Green, the first phase of Bridgeland Central, a 925-acre “urban district”. It’s part of Howard Hughes Holdings’ master-planned Bridgeland community in Cypress. The new Jonathan’s The Rub is expected to debut in the fall of 2025.
New FEMA rules include climate change impacts
FEMA’s new rules governing rebuilding after disasters will take into account the impacts of climate change on future flood risk. For decades, the agency has followed a 100-year floodplain standard—an area that has a 1% chance of flooding in a given year. Man Fatally Stabbed in Northwest Houston Apartment, No Arrests as Investigation Continues
Tragedy struck in northwest Houston last weekend when a confrontation inside an apartment escalated to deadly violence, resulting in one man's death and a woman being hospitalized.
