'Nobody can afford it': Some northwest Ohioans upset about paying for Swan Creek watershed cleanup
SWANTON, Ohio — Homeowners from Henry, Fulton and Lucas County got the chance to ask some questions Tuesday after getting a surprise bill for watershed cleanup. The Lucas County Engineer's Office says they must clean up ditches in the area to help with flooding. The county's looking to taxpayers to help pay for it.

TOLEDO, Ohio — The Jamie Farr Pool in north Toledo has been closed until further notice, a city of Toledo spokesperson said in an email Wednesday afternoon. A Lucas County commissioner race is moving to television, as one candidate’s advertisements will start airing as soon as Friday.
