    Ingredients:

    • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
    • 3 tbsp cocoa powder
    • 1/2 tsp baking soda
    • 1/4 cup unsweetened applesauce
    • 2 tbsp peanut butter
    • 3 tbsp pure maple syrup
    • 1/4 cup + 2 tbsp almond milk
    • 3 tbsp mini semi-sweet chocolate chips

    Directions:

    1. In a large bowl, mix together the flour, cocoa powder, and baking soda.
    2. Make a well in the center of the bowl, then add the applesauce, peanut butter, pure maple syrup, and three tbsp of almond milk.
    3. Mix the wet ingredients well to combine, then mix the wet ingredients into the dry. Add a bit more almond milk as necessary to form a smooth muffin batter.
    4. Gently fold in 2 1/2 tbsp of the mini chocolate chips.
    5. Evenly distribute the batter between six cavities of a lined or greased muffin pan.
    6. Top each muffin off with a few more of the remaining 1/2 tbsp of chocolate chips.
    7. Pop the muffins in the oven to bake for about 30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
    8. Let the muffins cool, then remove them from the pan.
    9. Serve the muffins up warm and fresh!

Enjoy these sweet and fluffy double chocolate muffins friends šŸ„°
