Wyoming Legion Baseball Standings: July 1, 2024
Wyoming Legion Baseball teams are through Week 13 of the 2024 season. The Cody Cubs are hot. They’ve taken the lead in the A Northwest Division and have won 12 straight games through Sunday. The Casper Oilers are alone atop the AA standings. The Casper Drillers and Evanston Outlaws continue their divisional leads and are the only two teams undefeated in league games. The standings include all games played through June 30, 2024.
Casper Trail Charette Open Until July 8
The Casper Trail Charette on June 6th brought many people together to share ideas, discuss issues, and help determine trail priorities for Casper and surrounding areas. Geographic areas considered for trails include Rim Rock, Fremont/Alcova and Yesness/Casper College/Mike Sedar. A charette is a planning exercise and not a decision-making meeting.

Felons Sentenced For Possessing Firearms in Mills And Casper
--- A Casper man was sentenced to eight years in prison for being a felon in possession of a firearm. Senior U.S. District Court Judge Nancy D. Freudenthal imposed the sentence on Jun. 26. According to court documents, in August 2023, a Federal Firearm Licensee who was travelling in Wyoming, reported someone broke into his vehicle and stole three firearms including a 9mm pistol, an MP7 machine gun, and a suppressor.
