Amarillo area high school football schedule, scores for Week 5

District competition begins this week for a number of other schools in Amarillo, as multiple 5A programs and a 1A team in the area will see their first district opponent in Week 5.

The rest of the region will begin its district slate in the coming weeks, but there are still a few exciting non-district matchup set for Thursday and Friday.

Here is a look at the week five high school football schedule for Amarillo and the surrounding areas.
