    Clark County’s Sheriff’s Office investigates fatal crash in Amboy, closes road

    PORTLAND, Ore. ( KOIN ) — One person is dead and a road is closed amid a fatal crash investigation in Amboy on Sunday.

    According to the Clark County Sheriff’s Office, a witness called 911 at 1:26 p.m. to report a collision near 18600 NE 399th Street.

    The crash involved a car and a motorcycle, with one person having “significant injuries” as a result. When first responders arrived, the person had died.

    “The Clark County Sheriff’s Office Traffic Homicide Unit was called out to conduct an investigation,” the sheriff’s office said in a release. “The roadway will be closed for several hours during the investigation.”

    The case is considered active and ongoing.
