Tigard resident Virginia Howe Kincaid, a transplant from her hometown of Houston, Texas, by way of Upstate New York and Omaha, will be performing her original one-woman show “Behind Every Bush” at the Magenta Theater, 1108 Main Street, Vancouver, Washington, 7:30 pm on Saturday, August 24. “Behind Every Bush” features Barbara Bush in a meeting over coffee with her biographer (the audience) shortly before her April 2018 death. One artist/artist team will be selected to create artwork(s) at the site that is meaningful and responsive to the site’s history, present-day community needs, and the in-process memorial design.
