    Dock Street Theatre, Charleston, South Carolina:

    Originally built in the early 18th century and rebuilt in the 1930s, Dock Street Theatre is one of America's oldest. It claims hauntings by figures like Nettie Dickerson, struck by lightning on its balcony, and Junius Brutus Booth, an actor and father of John Wilkes Booth.
