    Beyoncé leads nominations for 2024 People’s Choice Country Awards

    Beyoncé Knowles-Carter is the frontrunner at this year’s People’s Choice Country Awards, earning an impressive 12 nominations for her latest album, Cowboy Carter.

    The highly anticipated show, hosted by Shania Twain, is set to take place live from the Grand Ole Opry House in Nashville.

    Now in its second year, the awards will honor country music's top talent, with winners determined entirely by fan votes.

    In addition to Beyoncé, Zach Bryan also shines brightly with 11 nominations.

    Beyoncé’s categories include Female Artist, Social Country Star, Album, Song, Female Song, Collaboration Song, Cover Song, Crossover Song, and Storyteller Song. Notably, she is up for two nominations in the Female Song and Cover Song categories.

    Her singles “16 Carriages” and “Texas Hold ’Em” are contenders for Female Song, while her covers of The Beatles' “Blackbird” and Dolly Parton’s “Jolene” vie for the Cover Song award. Beyoncé is also competing for the coveted People’s Artist of 2024 title.

    Beyoncé's groundbreaking album *Cowboy Carter*, released on March 29, has already set records and generated considerable buzz.

    Her surprise single releases during a Super Bowl commercial have further spotlighted her role in elevating Black country artists and celebrating the genre's rich history.

    Fans can cast their votes at votepcca.com until August 23. The People’s Choice Country Awards will be broadcast live on September 26 at 8 p.m. ET on NBC and Peacock.
