Post Malone shares rare comments about his daughter as star credits toddler with changing his life '

Post Malone has credited the birth of his daughter with profoundly transforming his life for the better. The 29-year-old rapper, who welcomed his daughter with fiancée Jamie two years ago, shared that her arrival marked a pivotal moment in his life.

In an interview with Anthony Mason on CBS Sunday Morning, Post Malone reflected on how his daughter’s presence has been life-changing.

He mentioned, “I'll never forget her. If you heard her cry, you’ll never forget her, either!” Recalling his struggles with loneliness and a turbulent lifestyle just four years ago, he admitted, “I was on a rough path. It was terrible.

I would get up, have a good cry, drink, and then go on with my day. And then, when I lay down, it was more drinking and crying. I felt like I had to wake up and do it all over again.”

Post Malone revealed that his perspective has shifted dramatically since becoming a father. He said, “It’s the most amazing thing. I needed to do it for myself, to figure out who I am.”

He also discussed his deep connection with his fans, emphasizing, “I don’t want people to feel how I’ve felt. And I know they do. I’m here on stage, and I want everyone to feel welcome and loved. That’s the most important thing for me.”

The rapper previously noted that fatherhood has helped him cut back on his partying lifestyle. In a conversation with Apple Music last year, he stated, “Having a baby put a lot into perspective, and it’s slowed me down a lot.

I never had the time to fully experience the journey, so that’s what I’m focusing on now. I love spending time with my baby, hanging out with my partner, playing video games, and working on projects in my garage.”

Post Malone is also gearing up for the release of his new country album, *F-1 Trillion*, on August 16. The album will feature collaborations with notable country artists, including Dolly Parton, Chris Stapleton, Hank Williams Jr., and Tim McGraw, among others.
