The iconic fedora worn by Harrison Ford in *Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom* sold for $630,000 at an auction on Thursday, alongside memorabilia from *Star Wars*, *Harry Potter*, and *James Bond*.

The auction, conducted by Propstore, saw 37 bids for the hat, which was featured prominently in the 1984 Steven Spielberg film.

Set in 1935 India, *Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom* was nominated for two Academy Awards and grossed over $333 million worldwide. The hat, worn by Ford and his stunt double, Dean Ferrandini, in several memorable scenes, including the yellow raft scene on a snow-covered mountain and the river scene, is a significant piece of film history.

The fedora was part of Ferrandini’s collection, who passed away last year.

Crafted by the Herbert Johnson Hat Company in London, the fedora is made of sable-colored rabbit felt and features a dark brown ribbon and a leather sweatband. The sweatband is stamped with the initials "I J" in gold, marking it as part of the original Indiana Jones trilogy.

This specific fedora had a more tapered crown compared to those from the previous film.

In comparison, another fedora from *Temple of Doom* sold for just over $431,000 at an auction in 2021.
