8/23: Calcasieu Parish Sheriff announces arrest list

The Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office reported the following arrests:

Michael Lane Thomas , 43, 2125 Hickory St., Sulphur — domestic abuse battery-strangulation.

Paul Charles III , 32, 1821 Monaghan Drive — domestic abuse battery-child endangerment; domestic abuse battery-pregnant victim; unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.

Cari Donielle Smith , 41, 189 Packing House Road — illegal possession of stolen firearms, first offense; direct contempt of court. Bond: $25,000.

Caleb Trahan , 39, 1448 Ira Breaux Road — criminal trespass; second-degree battery; simple battery. Bond: $50,500.

Demark Antoine Kennedy , 30, 1613 Shaw St. — two counts drug possession. Bond: $13,000.

Jaydrein Carmelo Miller , 19, 8559 Gulf Highway — theft of a firearm. Bond: $25,000.

Lamonte Devon Roberts , 25, Hammond — indecent behavior with juveniles. Bond: $50,000.

Richard Lynn Fuselier , 59, 6797 La. 3059 — domestic abuse aggravated assault; illegal use of weapons or dangerous instruments.

Tyrah Nicole Simon , 32, 112 N. Hodges St. — two counts aggravated flight from an officer; aggravated assault with a motor vehicle upon a peace officer; theft of a motor vehicle; switched license plates. Bond: $51,000.

Michael Sterling Bartley , 38, 1000 Laura Circle, Sulphur — two counts simple burglary; unauthorized entry of a place of business; possession of firearm or carrying concealed weapon by a person convicted of certain felonies; theft of a firearm; theft from $1,000 but less than $5,000; unauthorized entry of a place of business. Bond: $222,500.

Jadyn Brooke Authement , 28, 2307 Salmon St. — direct contempt of court; drug possession; possession of marijuana, first offense (14 grams or less); prohibited acts, drug paraphernalia. Bond: $8,000.

Matthew Garrett Genova , 41, 5001 Pecan Acres No. 11 — six counts drug possession; prohibited acts, drug paraphernalia; sale, distribution or possession of legend drug without prescription. Bond: $125,000.

Maria Gabriela Cooksey , 32, Katy, Texas — two counts theft of a motor vehicle from $25,000 or more; identity theft less than $300; immigration detainer. Bond: $57,500.

K’leyah Chanta Ceaso r, 17, 2113 Orchard Grove — aggravated second-degree battery. Bond: $65,000.

Johntha Marquis Monge , 31, Alexandria — following vehicles; driving on roadway laned for traffic; unlawful use of license; two counts drug possession; illegal carrying of weapons during commission of a crime or in presence of CDS; theft of a motor vehicle from $25,000 or more; resisting an officer by refusal to I.D.
