    SW La. school lunch menus Aug. 26-30

    The following menus for Aug. 26-30 for area schools have been submitted by supervisors of food services. Menus are subject to change.

    Allen

    Lunch

    MONDAY: Potato soup with ham or cheeseburger soup, carrot and celery sticks with ranch, steamed broccoli, whole wheat mozzarella breadstick.

    TUESDAY: Chicken sauce picante with rice, lima beans, potato salad, cranberry sauce, whole wheat roll, orange, yogurt.

    WEDNESDAY: Tacos or burritos, taco salad cup with tomato and shredded cheese, refried beans, grape, apricots, honey grahams.

    THURSDAY: Chili mac, sweet potatoes with glaze, green beans, cornbread mini loaf, apple, pears with shredded cheese.

    FRIDAY: Pizza, corn on the cob, mixed vegetables, pineapple rings with cherries, banana, cowboy cookie.

    Breakfast

    MONDAY: Pancakes with syrup, hash brown, mandarin oranges, raisins.

    TUESDAY: Cheese toast, sausage links, peaches, sliced strawberries.

    WEDNESDAY: Breakfast burrito, string cheese stick, orange, yogurt.

    THURSDAY: Breakfast pizza, cereal bar, apricots, grapes.

    FRIDAY: Chocolate or grape crescents, yogurt with granola, apple, pears.

    Beauregard

    Lunch

    MONDAY: Chicken nuggets, macaroni and cheese, green beans, apple.

    TUESDAY: Nachos with ground beef, taco salad cup, red beans, pears.

    WEDNESDAY: Spaghetti with meat sauce, corn, garden salad, peaches, breadstick.

    THURSDAY: Baked chicken, broccoli and cheese, rice, steamed carrots, peaches, rolls.

    FRIDAY: Corn chips and chili, red beans, relish tray with dip, mixed fruit, oatmeal cookie.

    Breakfast

    MONDAY: Cereal, toast, peaches.

    TUESDAY: Grilled cheese, mixed fruit.

    WEDNESDAY: Cinnamon rolls, apple.

    THURSDAY: Western scramble toast, pears.

    FRIDAY: Waffle dunkers, yogurt, sliced apples.

    Calcasieu

    Lunch

    MONDAY: Chicken nuggets, macaroni and cheese, baby carrots, mixed vegetables, kiwi.

    TUESDAY: Cajun chicken pasta, side salad, glazed carrots, cantaloupe, Italian rolls.

    WEDNESDAY: Homestyle chili with Fritos, broccoli and cheese, green beans, peaches and berries, cornbread muffins.

    THURSDAY: Jambalaya, sweet potatoes, cucumber slices, cornbread muffins, applesauce cups.

    FRIDAY: Cheeseburger, French fries, baked beans, strawberries.

    Breakfast

    MONDAY: Crunchy cereal, red and green grapes.

    TUESDAY: Pancakes, cool pears.

    WEDNESDAY: Hot chicken biscuits, fruit salad.

    THURSDAY: Yogurt parfait with granola, berries.

    FRIDAY: Hot breakfast pizza, bananas.

    MONDAY: Chicken tenders or strips, rip stick, sweet potatoes or crinkle cut fries, peas, fruit mix.

    TUESDAY: Salisbury steak, rice, lima beans, cucumbers, baked pears.

    WEDNESDAY: Chili dog, tater tots, carrots, fruit fluff.

    THURSDAY: Cajun chicken pasta, yeast rolls, broccoli, corn, cantaloupe.

    Breakfast

    MONDAY: Glazed donut, applesauce.

    TUESDAY: Chicken maple waffle sandwich, peaches.

    WEDNESDAY: Cinnamon rolls, pears.

    THURSDAY: Pancake on a stick, fruit mix.
