Sabrina Carpenter is proving herself to be one of the most impressive performers in her generation. While her own catalog is impressive enough, she has made time for a cover or two. Find our three favorites, below.

3 of Sabrina Carpenter’s Best Cover Songs–Featuring Olivia Newton-John, Chappell Roan, and More

    1. “Hopelessly Devoted To You”

Singing “Hopelessly Devoted To You” is no easy feat. Nevertheless, Carpenter breezed through the ballad on an Eras Tour stop in Melbourne. She did Olivia Newton-John proud with her soaring high notes and intimate low ones. It was the perfect choice of cover for Carpenter.

    I know I’m just a fool who’s willing

To sit around and wait for you

But baby, can’t you see there’s nothing else for me to do?

    I’m hopelessly devoted to you

But now there’s nowhere to hide

Since you pushed my love aside

    I’m out of my head

    Hopelessly devoted to you

    2. “Good Luck, Babe!”

Chappell Roan’s “Good Luck, Babe!” has taken up some serious real estate in the minds of the pop-listening world–Carpenter included. During her appearance at BBC’s Live Lounge, Carpenter put her own spin on this Roan hit. The original version boasts some pretty difficult vocals, but Carpenter held her own. With this cover, she proved that she is one of the most effortless vocalists in pop right now.

You can kiss a hundred boys in bars

Shoot another shot, try to stop the feeling

You can say it’s just the way you are

Make a new excuse, another stupid reason

Good luck, babe (well, good luck), well, good luck, babe (well, good luck)

You’d have to stop the world just to stop the feeling

Good luck, babe (well, good luck), well, good luck, babe (well, good luck)

You’d have to stop the world just to stop the feeling

    3. “Dancing Queen”

Carpenter slowed things down during another Eras Tour stop for a stripped-down version of “Dancing Queen.” The arrangement of this ABBA hit gave it a dramatic air. The sound of the crowd singing along with her is chill-inducing. Carpenter once again proved that her vocals are top tier.

Friday night and the lights are low

Looking out for a place to go

Where they play the right music, getting in the swing

You come to look for a king

    Anybody could be that guy

Night is young and the music’s high

With a bit of rock music, everything is fine

You’re in the mood for a dance
