For over 60 years, Kris Kristofferson showcased his amazing talents within country music with songs like “For the Good Times” and “Help Me Make It Through the Night.” Besides releasing over 20 studio albums throughout his time on stage, the singer joined forces with icons like Johnny Cash, Waylon Jennings, and Willie Nelson to create the group The Highwayman. Outside of the studio, the stinger also landed numerous roles in Hollywood films. With a career featuring music, movies, and even some time in the military, Kristofferson retired from the stage. But thanks to his rich history, performances like “Loving Her Was Easier” continue to gain praise from fans.

Back in 1972, Kristofferson prepared to perform “Loving Her Was Easier” on British Television. Having spent a career in country music, the singer seemed right at home even though he traveled overseas. Although it has been over 50 years since that performance, Kristofferson’s performance is simply timeless.
