A number of country artists are sending love to Post Malone after the release of his newest country venture, F-1 Trillion. The album dropped yesterday (along with a few surprise bonus tracks) and music reviewers are already singing the record’s praises. Some are even saying that the album might be an early contender for Album of the Year. And country icon Randy Travis also had some kind words to say about the newest release from Malone.

The country music legend and “Three Wooden Crosses” hitmaker took to his X account yesterday to publicly congratulate Post Malone on the new album. According to the post, Randy Travis and Post Malone connected after a recent show, where the latter taught Travis a few beer pong tips backstage.

The post was accompanied by video footage of the two playing beer pong together among a crowd of crew and friends. “Pour Me A Drink” by Post Malone (and Blake Shelton) plays over the video.

“Make sure to give F-1 Trillion a listen!” Travis announced to his fans in the post.

That’s quite the stamp of approval from one of the greats of country music. And Travis isn’t the only one to sing Malone’s praises in the wake of F-1 Trillion’s release. Lainey Wilson also sent out some affirming words for the budding country star after a recent performance with him.

“Country music loves ya brother!” Wilson said in an X post, accompanied by photos and footage of the two performing together. Lainey Wilson is featured on the F-1 Trillion song “Nosedive”. She also co-wrote the album’s fifth song “Have The Heart” featuring Dolly Parton.

Fellow country singer and friend ERNEST also took to social media to congratulate Malone on his new album.

“Welcome to Nashville, Tennessee,” said ERNEST in an X post, accompanied by video footage of their collab “Devil I’ve Been” and a photo of the two friends from years ago. ERNEST also contributed his songwriting skills to the album’s opening track “Wrong Ones” featuring Tim McGraw.

It’s clear that Post Malone has left an impression on his new country music contemporaries. Could this be the start of a long and successful career as a rapper-turned-country star? We’ll just have to wait and see what he does next.
