AC/DC have ended the European leg of their Power Up Tour, finishing the run with a tremendous show in Dublin. This has been their first extended tour in eight years, and they closed it out in style by playing all the hits. That included “Back In Black,” which hit one billion views on YouTube earlier this year.

Taylor Momsen and The Pretty Reckless have been opening for AC/DC on their European tour. The Pretty Reckless has previously cited the iconic rock band as an influence, so their partnership made sense. “Have you ever seen a bad AC/DC performance? There isn’t one. Every show, balls to the wall. You can’t duplicate them,” Momsen has said in the past.

According to a report from Ultimate Classic Rock, the band’s setlist remained the same throughout their tour. During the final show, they opened with “If You Want Blood (You’ve Got It)” and “Back in Black,” which you can catch below in a fan-captured video. They followed this with “Demon Fire” from the 2020 album Power Up. AC/DC then traveled through the classic hits before concluding with an encore of “T.N.T.” and “For Those About to Rock (We Salute You).”

AC/DC Closes Out First Extended Tour in 8 Years with Classic Hits and Selections from Recent Album

The last time AC/DC went on an extended European tour like this was in 2016, when they embarked on the Rock or Bust Tour. Fans will remember that tour for the myriad issues it faced, such as Brian Johnson having to take a break from the stage due to hearing loss.

The band recovered by recruiting Axl Rose of Guns N’ Roses for the majority of the tour. Johnson made a triumphant return in 2020 for Power Up, and fans were ecstatic when they launched the Power Up Tour in May last year. For the European tour, fans were so ecstatic at the time of the announcement that they purchased a staggering amount of tickets on day one. In total, the band sold 1.5 million tickets on the first day of sales.

All in all, AC/DC designed a fiery 21-song set to the delight of fans on this trek. Check out their performance of “Back In Black,” as well as a stunning showing of the closing number, “For Those About to Rock (We Salute You).”
