A new Def Leppard live album and concert video capturing an intimate hometown performance the band gave in Sheffield, U.K., will be released on October 11 on multiple formats and configurations. One Night Only: Live at The Leadmill Sheffield May 19, 2023 was recorded and filmed on the night before Def Leppard launched its largest tour of the U.K. and Europe ever.
The release will be available on CD, as a DVD/CD or Blu-ray/CD collection, as a limited-edition two-LP set pressed on orange vinyl, and on digital audio and digital video. Def Leppard’s official store was selling a limited number of CDs packaged with a card signed by the band members, but they apparently have sold out already.

In advance of Live at The Leadmill’s release, Def Leppard has debuted a video of the band performing “Excitable,” a song from the group’s classic 1987 album Hysteria. The concert also included performances of such hits as “Bringin’ On the Heartbreak,” “Hysteria,” and “Pour Some Sugar on Me.” The band also played a variety of deep cuts at the show, including “Switch 625” and “Action.” In addition, Def Leppard performed “Kick” and “Fire It Up,” tunes from their 2022 studio album, Diamond Star Halos.
The Leadmill, which opened in 1980, is the longest-running music venue in Sheffield. Def Leppard decided to celebrate its impending 2023 tour, and mark the release of their orchestral remix album Drastic Symphonies, by streaming a concert live from the club.

One Night Only: Live at The Leadmill got its initial release as a limited-edition two-LP set on April 20, 2024, as part of this year’s Record Store Day event.
Def Leppard’s Upcoming Tour Dates
Def Leppard currently is on the road with Journey on The Summer Stadium Tour. The North American co-headlining trek runs through a September 8 concert in Denver. The next show takes place Friday, August 23, at Chase Field in Phoenix, Arizona. The Steve Miller Band and Cheap Trick are featured as support acts on select dates during the outing.
Def Leppard also has a couple of a headlining shows without Journey on their schedule, including a September 10 concert in West Valley City, Utah.
