Over the last few years, Jelly Roll proved himself to be a top talent in country music with songs like “Need a Favor.” Looking back, the country singer used the last three years to produce albums like Ballads of the Broken, Whitsitt Chapel, and now, Beautifully Broken. With his newest album hitting shelves in a few weeks, the country singer decided to hit the road to celebrate yet another milestone. And when the star stopped by Salt Lake City, he found the atmosphere more than inviting as he hinted at an upcoming move.

On more than one occasion, Jelly Roll gushed over how much Nashville means to him. Having played a massive part in country music, many singers hold the city close to their hearts. Considered sacred ground within country music, Jelly Roll appeared to shock some fans when he praised the city. “I’ve been all over this place dude.” He continued, “I’ve been to Park City, I’ve been to Heber, I’ve been to West Valley City. I’ve been to Salt Lake City. I truly could not have asked for a better way to open this tour. I could not have asked for a better crowd tonight Salt Lake City.”

After taking a moment to praise those in attendance and the city, Jelly Roll surprisingly said, “I’ve decided I am going to buy a house in Park City. So if y’all see me and sexy wife out, feel free to stop by and say hello.”

Gaining thousands of views, fans discussed Jelly Roll’s statement with comments reading, “Utah is getting all the coolest celebrities cuz this really is the chillest place to live. So proud to be from Utah.” Another person continued, “I just want to be yours and bunnies friend!!! I don’t care about your fame, I don’t want the clout. I just want y’all’s friendship!!!.”

Outside of his thoughts on moving, Jelly Roll discussed his ongoing career within the studio. Wasting no time taking over country music, the singer insisted, “I’m writing more than I’ve ever wrote. I’ve never been more inspired and met more people and heard more stories that I feel like I need to share — not for myself, but for them.”
