Spending over a decade in the music industry, Jon Pardi released five studio albums. His last, Merry Christmas from Jon Pardi, was released last year with high praise from fans. Outside of sharing his Christmas spirit, the singer continues to work on new music and entertain fans all over the country. But recently, the country singer had to do the one thing no performer loves – postpone shows. While looking forward to hitting the stage in places like Wilmington, North Carolina, Pardi ended up rescheduling a few shows due to an ongoing illness.

Posting the news to his Instagram stories, Pardi revealed he needed to postpone his shows in North Carolina and South Carolina. He wrote online, “Wilmington and Charleston, I’m so sorry, but I have a chest infection that simply won’t allow me to be 100% this weekend.” Not wanting fans to worry about their tickets, the country star continued, “We are rescheduling Wilmington to Friday November 1st and Charleston to Saturday November 2nd. All tickets will be honored on the new dates.”

Although out of his control, Pardi insisted, “My sincere apologies. I just want to give you the show you deserve. Thank you to Baltimore for coming out and powering through with me. You guys rocked.”

Outside of touring the country, Pardi recently revealed his new single “Friday Night Heartbreaker.” Just a taste of what the future holds for the singer, he noted, “’Friday Night Heartbreaker’ kicks down the door of this next musical chapter. I challenged myself to elevate in every aspect, and this is the tip of the spear for what’s to come. When I first heard the song, I knew instantly that I had to cut it… and what a journey it was recording alongside the professor Jay Joyce.” While a little under the weather, Pardi couldn’t contain his enthusiasm over the new project. “I’m excited as I have ever been to share new music.”

Fans appeared to agree as they commented, “Love this soo excited about new music from u Jon… ur my favorite.. My Country Elvis.” Another comment read, “Love the song Jon! It’s a fun-sounding vibe kind of song that I love!”
