Those Gallagher brothers, always getting into one argument or another. Now, though, they’ve reconciled for an Oasis reunion tour across the U.K. and possibly the U.S. as well in 2025. Recently on Twitter, a fan asked Liam who called first, as Liam has been adamant in the past that it wouldn’t be him. However, the answer to this one might shock you.

“Liam who called first? You or Noel?” a fan asked on the social media platform. Liam, who has never shied away from interacting with fans—often not in the way they were possibly expecting—was ready and willing to answer the question.

“I called him but don’t tell anyone as I [don’t] wont folk thinking I’m a soft lad and stuffs keep it between me n you cheers [sic],” Liam replied to the question.

While this reply may possibly get lost in the waves of comments and responses between Liam and fans, it will now live on in infamy, just like Oasis’ 2009 break up. Now, the real question still remains—will Oasis last long enough to embark on their reunion tour at all?

Oasis Will Potentially Release New Album in Time for Reunion Tour, Says Liam Gallagher

Liam Gallagher is usually the more outspoken between him and his brother Noel, and the former dropped a bombshell on fans recently when he shared that Oasis may release a new album. Fans often flock to Liam on Twitter to ask questions, as he’s more than willing to respond. It’s no surprise then that he shared some insights when pressed about new music.

Around September 8, a fan asked if Oasis was working on new music. Liam, not one to beat around the bush, responded bluntly, “Yep, it’s already finished.”

Fans were ecstatic, pressing him for more details. There hasn’t been new Oasis music since Dig Out Your Soul from 2008. Then, of course, was the infamous 2009 break up that lasted 15 years. However, in addition to a reunion tour, fans may be in for yet another treat in the form of new music.

When asked to elaborate, Liam simply replied, “It’s in the bag mate, f–k the air.” However, when asked to describe the new album in one word, he did reply with, “TURDOS.” So, fans, do with that what you will.
