At the People’s Choice Country Awards, tonight, September 26, Kelsea Ballerini took the stage to give a stunning performance. She appeared in a field of fake sunflowers, singing “Two Things,” which she released recently. She’s dropping a new album, titled Patterns, on October 25. Her vocals were beautiful and sweet, while the song touched on deep emotions.

Ballerini’s new album comes on the heels of her 2023 album Rolling Up the Welcome Mat. Many of those songs chronicled her divorce, revealing raw wounds and emotions.

Kelsea Ballerini is nominated for Female Artist, Social Country Star, Crossover Song with Noah Kahan for “Cowboys Cry Too,” and Storyteller Song of 2024 for “Sorry Mom.” So far, Shaboozey, Machine Gun Kelly, and Dasha have won awards, as well as Miranda Lambert with the Country Icon Award.

She’s been on TV shows like Nashville in the past, and it looks like she’s making a foray back into acting. While she promised it was no more than a guest starring role, fans were still excited to see her on their TVs. The promo featured the show’s star, Joshua Jackson as Dr. Max, checking up on Ballerini. Other guest stars will include John Stamos, Chord Overstreet, and Gina Gershon.

Ballerini is also coming to TV in a bigger capacity, as she will debut as a coach on season 27 of The Voice. She’ll be joining John Legend, Adam Levine, and Michael Bublé as they all attempt to be the winning coach.
