Kicking off season 50 just a few weeks ago, Saturday Night Live already welcomed stars like Jean Smart, Jelly Roll, and Coldplay to its historic stage. Bringing the laughs, the new season continues to garner rave reviews. For Jelly Roll, he used his time on SNL to showcase his new song “Winning Streak.” Wanting to keep the good times rolling, season 50 continues tonight with a new lineup of hosts and musical guests. Given the excitement surrounding the new film Wicked, it appears that SNL will welcome Ariana Grande to the stage as the host. But who will be the musical guest? Although having a prosperous career in music, Grande will only host SNL tonight. With no double duty for Grande, the show will welcome none other than the iconic Stevie Nicks for the second time. For those who might be trying to remember, the last time Nicks made it on SNL was during the 1980s. With decades passing, the night is sure to be memorable not only for fans but for Nicks.

Ariana Grande Shares The Stage With Icon Stevie Nicks on ‘Saturday Night Live’

With a lineup featuring both Grande and Nicks, tonight’s episode of SNL is a must-watch. A part of the historic Fleetwood Mac, Nicks discussed her time in the spotlight and the sudden passing of her friend Christine McVie back in November 2022. Discussing her late friend, Nicks said, “She was like my soul mate, my musical soul mate, and my best friend that I spent more time with than any of my other best friends outside of Fleetwood Mac.”

Although exploring new music and appearing on SNL, Nicks insisted, “Without Christine, no can do. There is no chance of putting Fleetwood Mac back together in any way. Without her, it just couldn’t work.”

While not looking to put the band back together, Nicks continued to honor the legacy of Fleetwood Mac and McVie. “Fleetwood Mac is all over my set. Now that there is no more Fleetwood Mac, that opens the door for me to do other songs, like The Chain, that I’ve never done [solo]. I will keep the music of Fleetwood Mac alive, for as long as I can.”
