The Voice is back for season 26, and fans have been enjoying the twists and turns so far that come with new coaches and a few new rules. There’s a new episode tonight, October 21, which will kick off the second round of the show. Last week marked the end of the Blind Auditions, and now that all the coaches’ teams are full, it’s on to the Battle Rounds.

The Battle Rounds are always fun for fans because viewers see how the coaches match up their performers. Usually, it makes for some pretty hard choices on the coaching side. With everyone so talented and willing to give every performance their all, the coaches have their work cut out for them. The Voice airs tonight at 8 p.m. ET on NBC. The new episode will also be available on Peacock the next day.

Current stand-out contestants include Katie O, Mark Shiiba, Camryn Brooks, and Cameron Wright. However, everyone on the show is incredibly talented, and there are other favorites among the teams. Fans won’t want to miss tonight’s episode, as there should be plenty of surprises in store.

Not Afraid of His Emotions: Coaching The Voice is Giving Michael Bublé All the Feels

On a recent episode of The Voice, a 16-year-old hopeful contestant made Michael Bublé emotional, as her rendition of H.E.R.’s “Hard Place” didn’t earn any chair turns. The coaches praised the young singer, while Bublé related her experience to one of his own early in his career.

“I imagine that your heart’s hurting, huh? And it should. That’s part of the journey you’re gonna go through to become a star,” he told Zaza Benjamin during her audition. “You’re 16 years old. You lost nothing today. You’re looking at four people who have been told no, who have gone home and cried to their moms and dads, who’ve thought they were gonna fail a million times,” he continued, adding, “You’re good enough, you really are.”

Once Benjamin left the stage, after a supportive hug from Bublé and Snoop Dogg, Bublé shared a story with his fellow coaches.

“I lost the youth talent search in Memphis,” he recalled “My heart was crushed, and when I see [Benjamin], I can’t take it.” He joked that he “deserved to win in Memphis,” but the story proved that his support for Benjamin was genuine.
