Biden's Granddaughter's Secret Service Vehicle Break-In: Arrest Made

In a recent turn of events, a 19-year-old Washington resident, Robert Kemp, has been charged with first-degree theft and unauthorized use of a vehicle in connection with the break-in of a Secret Service limo back in November. This incident occurred outside the residence of Naomi Biden, granddaughter of President Joe Biden, as reported by ABC News.

According to court records, Kemp was charged in early February following the recovery of the sedan believed to have been used in the break-in. The complaint states that Secret Service agents initially reported the incident late on November 12, noting a red sedan stopping near the Secret Service limo designated for the first family's use.

One of the agents witnessed a black male with his legs hanging out of the broken driver side rear window of the Secret Service vehicle. When confronted, the suspect fled in the sedan, narrowly avoiding collision with one of the agents who discharged his weapon in response.

While the complaint doesn't explicitly mention Naomi Biden, sources familiar with the matter confirmed the incident occurred at her residence. Equipment stolen from the van included night vision goggles and a portable router.

Investigators later traced the stolen sedan back to Kemp, finding a McDonald's receipt and bag with fingerprints matching his and those of an unnamed juvenile. This juvenile, believed to have been with Kemp during the break-in, was under GPS monitoring at the time, placing them in the vicinity of the crime scene.

Kemp reportedly admitted to driving the sedan during the break-in but claimed another individual named "JR" was responsible for the incident. He denied knowledge of the stolen items' whereabouts.

Kemp is scheduled for a preliminary hearing on February 29, though his attorney has not yet commented on the matter.
