    Iowa high school football schedule Week 5: Every Ames-area IHSAA game

    It's Week 5 of the Iowa high school football season, with Ames hosting Class 5A No. 2 West Des Moines Valley and Ballard playing host to Indianola as the headlining the IHSAA schedule of games in the Ames area.

    Other big area games feature unbeaten Gilbert (4-0) going to Des Moines Hoover, Nevada (3-1) hosting Perry and Collins-Maxwell (3-1) playing host to Glidden-Ralston.

    Here is what's in store for Week 5 of high school football games in the Ames area.

    Ames vs. West Des Moines Valley 7 p.m. at the Ames High School Stadium in Ames

    Ballard vs. Indianola 7 p.m. at Rich Strouse Field in Huxley

    Baxter vs. Colo-NESCO 7 p.m. at the Seales Sports Complex in Baxter

    Collins-Maxwell vs. Glidden-Ralston 7 p.m. at Collins-Maxwell High School in Maxwell

    Des Moines Hoover vs. Gilbert 7 p.m. at Mediacom Stadium in Des Moines

    Perry vs. Nevada 7:30 p.m. at Cub Stadium in Nevada

    Roland-Story vs. Southeast Valley 7 p.m. at Kerry Van Winkle Field in Story City
