SWAT, bomb squad called to South Lubbock home after suspect claimed to have explosive device
LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) - 56-year-old Cabot Chew is behind bars tonight after LPD SWAT and the LPD Bomb Unit was called to his home in South Lubbock on Thursday morning. SWAT and the Bomb Unit were called to the home in the 9800 block of Knoxville Avenue around 11:30 a.m. after Chew made statements about having explosives, making him a high-risk fugitive.
