This seems to be the week of earthquakes here in West Texas as Lubbock was once again shaking on Friday, July 26, 2024. We just felt an earthquake in Lubbock on Monday, July 22, 2024. It reached a 4.9-magnitude with its epicenter located west of Abilene, Texas, near Hermleigh, Texas. There were also two additional aftershocks that reached around 3.1 magnitude each.
