AMHERST – A lottery player who purchased a ticket in Amherst won a $45,000 Badger5 jackpot.

According to Wisconsin Lottery , the winning ticket was purchased at Tomorrow River BP, 9762 Portage County KK in Amherst for the July 19 drawing.

Badger5 players choose five different numbers between 1 and 31, and players place wagers either by asking for a "quick pick" or by using a Badger5 playslip, available at Wisconsin Lottery retailers. Each ticket costs $1 to play.

The estimated Badger5 jackpot for Friday is $17,000. For more information, visit wilottery.com .
