38-year-old inmate dies Monday in Adams County Jail
FRIENDSHIP − A 38-year-old man being housed in the Adams County Jail is dead after being found unconscious in his jail cell Monday. At 6:01 p.m. Monday, jail deputies found the man unresponsive in his cell, according to the Adams County Sheriff's Office. Deputies immediately began lifesaving efforts, and Lifestar Ambulance arrived at the jail four minutes later and took over from the deputies. Additional patrol deputies also responded to help.
