Grand Forks Police searching for armed robbery suspect
(GRAND FORKS) – Grand Forks Police are investigating an armed robbery that took place Tuesday morning in the 1300 block of South Washington Street. According to authorities, the victim and witnesses stated they observed a male subject stealing an electric RAD scooter. The scooter was padlocked to a pole on the business, and the suspect used a bolt cutter to cut the lock. A male opened the back door of the business and yelled at the suspect. The suspect then used the bolt cutter as a weapon and raised it in the air and appeared as though he was going to strike the victim with it if he got any closer.
