Prescott Fraud Suspect Arrested in Texas: Over $40,000 Recovered
Prescott, AZ (July 16, 2024) - The Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office has been investigating email fraud in the Prescott area that resulted in the loss of over $40,000. It was alleged that someone had hacked into an unsuspecting 3rd party’s email and initiated a wire transfer from a bank account. The victim contacted the Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office, and an investigation was opened.
