Tangipahoa deputies looking for women caught on camera stealing puppies chained up in yard
The Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff's Office is searching for two women who were caught on camera unleashing and stealing puppies from a Loranger home in late June. Deputies were dispatched to the home in the 17000 block of Highway 40 on the evening of June 22, according to the sheriff's office. When deputies arrived, the homeowner reported that two women had pulled into his driveway in a white vehicle, walked into his backyard and left with three German shepherd puppies that had been chained up in the yard.
Three Sentenced in Federal Court for Three State Crime Spree
LAKE CHARLES, La. – Three men who went on a crime spree starting in Madison, Louisiana, through Kentwood, Louisiana and McComb, Mississippi, down to Beaumont, Texas, and ending in Vinton, Louisiana, have been sentenced in federal court, announced United States Attorney Brandon B. Brown. Each defendant pleaded guilty to conspiracy to commit Hobbs Act Robbery and possessing a firearm during a crime of violence. United States District Judge James D. Cain, Jr. sentenced the defendants as follows:

Fremin, in his ninth season, was named Louisiana's Coach of the Year for guiding the Lady Lions to their first NCAA Tournament appearance and a championship game berth. The team finished with 47 wins, tying a school record, and excelled in various statistical categories, including leading Division I in stolen bases.
Need your help after boat stolen in Hammond
HAMMOND —- The Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff’s Office is asking the public’s help in finding what they say is a stolen boat from the Club Deluxe Road area. The Shearwater Center console boat and its trailer were parked in a business parking lot in the 15000 block when it is believed to have been stolen in the early morning hours of June 16, 2024, according to the Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff’s Office.

Authorities searching for boat stolen in Hammond area, sheriff says
HAMMOND, La. (WVUE) - The Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff’s Office is asking people to be on the lookout for a boat that was stolen near Hammond. Sheriff Gerald Sticker said that The Shearwater Center console boat and trailer were stolen from a business parking lot in the 15000 block on Club Deluxe Road in the early morning hours of June 16.
