Dallas police have stated that officers found 43-year-old Edward Wilson fatally shot.

Three men were injured, one of which died, in a shooting that took place on Friday night in South Dallas.

Officers got a call concerning the shooting at about 9:10 p.m. They responded immediately in the 3400 block of South Malcolm X Boulevard, close to Warren Avenue.

When they got to the location, officers found a man on the ground. Edward Wilson, 43, was lying on the ground outside a car, according to the police.

The victim died at the location.

Two other men got hurt in the incident. Dallas police revealed they were transported to local hospitals, one in a private vehicle and the other one by Dallas Fire-Rescue.

Both men were in stable condition.

Investigators determined that a suspect took out a gun and fired at the car Wilson was in, with a group gathered around him.
