Teen dies in South Dallas shooting

Zayvyon Damund Jones lost his life right after 1 a.m.

The victim of a shooting that took place in South Dallas earlier this month has been identified as a 17-year-old teen.

Dallas County medical examiner records show that Zayvyon Damund Jones was the victim of the deadly shooting that took place close to Bexar Street in the 2600 block of Macon Street.

As authorities revealed, Jones was located lying on the ground. The victim was on the sidewalk with a gunshot wound.

Jones was immediately taken to a local hospital. Unfortunately, once the teen got there, he died as a result of his injuries.
