PS. There is no village at Cade’s Cove. Just a couple of buildings, one that’s not original. Cade’s Cove is a beautiful 4,000 acre valley in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. The only historic “village” is Elkmont ghost town, in the eastern part of the park.

Great Smoky Mountains National Park is not “adjacent” to Asheville. It’s about an hour and a half west. Also, Looking Glass Falls is not on “Blue Ridge Mountain”. There is no such mountain. The Blue Ridge Mountains are an entire mountain chain stretching from Georgia to New England. The highest part is in North Carolina.Do your homework. NewsBreak writers are notoriously bad about doing that. The errors I mentioned here are not as terrible as a lot of them that have been written about North Carolina.
