    Fatal Attraction and Men in Black Actor; Mike Nussbaum Dead at 99

    Born as Myron G. Nussbaum on December 29, 1923 in Chicago, Illinois, U.S. Nussbaum was a famous American actor and director for nearly 70 years. He acted in many well known films such as Field of Dreams, House of Games, Things Change, Gladiator, Fatal Attraction and Men In Black.

    He portrayed the principal in Field of Dreams in 1989. Nussbaum played Bob Drimmer in the 1987 blockbuster Fatal Attraction. He starred as Gentle Rosenberg in the 1997 hit movie Men in Black.

    In addition, Nussbaum made appearances in regional Northwest Federal Savings TV ads in Chicago, which featured the catchy tune, "It's Northwest Federal Savings time, sixty-three hours a week". Additionally, he performed nationwide advertisements for Scope mouthwash and United Airlines.

    Up to the year of his death in 2023, Nussbaum was still performing in theater productions and acting into his 90s.

    Annette Brenner and Nussbaum were wed from 1949 till her passing in 2003. In 2004, he wed Julie Brudlos. With his first wife, he had three children, Jack, Karen, and Susan.

    Six days before becoming 100 years old, on December 23, 2023, Nussbaum passed away at his home in Chicago.
