This City in NC is the Deadliest for Drivers in all of the US

Based on data gathered by H&P Law, Winston-Salem is the deadliest city to drive in during rush hour.

The Fatal Analysis Reporting System of the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration was used to gather the data. The total number of fatal crashes between the hours of 7 a.m. and 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. from 2017 to 2021 is shown in the data.

With forty traffic fatalities during rush hour during that time, Winston-Salem is the city that is deadliest for drivers.

Of all the traffic fatalities in Winston-Salem during that period, those 40 occurred during rush hour, accounting for 32.26% of the total.

Concerns about traffic safety have frequently come up in conversations throughout the years.

According to FARS data, Winston-Salem continues to have the greatest percentage of fatal crashes during rush hour in the US, despite having fewer total rush hour fatalities than several other cities.
