A group of thrill-seekers got more than they paid for at Disney California Adventure Park on Sunday.

Twenty people at the amusement park got trapped atop a roller coaster for more than an hour when the ride stopped on the tracks around 1:30 p.m. as sweltering heat hit the state.

Disneyland employees, wearing safety harnesses, eventually got the Incredicoaster riders down to the ground level, according to the independent news agency OC Hawk.

The trapped riders were given umbrellas to get some relief from the sun beating down on them before they were rescued from the 120-foot-tall coaster.

Temperatures climbed to the high 80s in Anaheim on Sunday.

It’s unclear why the ride malfunctioned, but it was the second day in a row that it stopped mid-ride with passengers on its tracks.

A Disneyland guest who was staying at a nearby hotel overlooking the park told KNBC-TV that he watched the “Incredibles”-themed ride stall on Saturday from his hotel room balcony.

“I thought maybe the ride was closed,” VinceCrandon told the outlet. “I was really concerned for the heat and obviously for the people… it was not moving and was on top of the apex.”

The Incredicoaster, which goes 55 mph at top speed, remained closed for the rest of Sunday.

A representative for Disney didn’t immediately respond to a Post inquiry.
